The Family Services Program at Diversitat provides case management services for families from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds. The program aims to meet the needs of vulnerable children and families by building parent and carer capacity, enhancing safety, strengthening networks, and improving overall wellbeing.
Diversitat also provides a secondary consultation service to support mainstream family service agencies to engage effectively with clients from CALD communities.
To access the Family Services Program, a referral should be submitted to Barwon Child FIRST who will assess and prioritise the referral, then allocate it to Diversitat if appropriate. Please be advised, demand for this service can be high.
