
Learning English is very important to be able to settle in Australia successfully. Our English Programs are designed to develop the language and literacy skills of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students. If you are eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program (offered in Colac), you can learn English for free.

Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)
The AMEP is funded by the Australian Government Department of Industry and provides 510 hours of free English classes to new migrants and refugees. Certificates in Spoken and Written English are all available. Home tutors and distance learning available and free childcare is also available.

Home Tutor Scheme
If you are eligible for the AMEP and are unable to attend classes, you may be able to learn English with a tutor at home or a location that is suitable for both of you. The tutor can discuss with you the best way for you to learn English and help you understand daily life in Australia.
