Phone donated after racist attack

After the story that saw three young girls pelted with rocks and racially abused in Sparks Road late last month, their families have been inundated with support from members of the community far and wide.

Their attackers, one as young as seven, allegedly ripped the girl’s head coverings off, egged on by one of the alleged attacker’s mothers.

Mashari, a nurse in Sydney, has generously donated a phone to replace the phone that was broken in the attack.

The picture shows Aima proudly holding her new phone.

The families are extremely thankful to Mashari and the wider community for their support. They recognise that the actions of the group on the day that they were assaulted are not representative of the entire community and wanted to thank everyone for their support.
