The Oppe Shoppe back in business

An institution in the local op shop circles, The Oppe Shoppe, was saved at the 11th hour from closing its doors after 30 years of operation.

On Friday last week the team of 30 plus dedicated volunteers attended what they thought was a farewell party and were delighted to discover that Diversitat had taken over operations and therefore it was going to be business as usual. Until recently, The Oppe Shoppe had been operating under the umbrella of Belmont Highton Baptist Church.

The Oppe Shoppe is renowned for its friendly and cheerful service, quality and true op shop prices and has an excellent range of clothing, footwear and Bric-a-brac.

The opening hours are currently 9.30am-4pm Monday-Friday.
