Loy Krathong is the second most celebrated as it is picturesque and romantic.
Like other festivals there are several tales as to the history of it, while the most common story is that the festival came about during early days of the Bangkok period (Thailand). As way of honouring Buddha small Krathong release in rivers, lakes and ponds contain a canddle used to pay respect to the Buddha, while the floating nature of the krathong symbolises letting go of hatred and anger.
Tickets $30 includes food, entertainment, dance performance, live music, raffle prizes, Krathong will be available for purchase, traditional community dance. Drinks are at bar price.
