A new series of workshops for the Women’s Health Program have been successfully running since October.
A group of Iraqi ladies have engaged in different physical activities like Hiking, Badminton and Zumba dancing.
This is the third program conducted this year with the aim to facilitate health education and encourage physical activity among women from different communities.
This program is giving women the opportunity to identify, talk and improve their knowledge around health issues that concern them. Sessions have been guided by a range of guest speakers who are health practitioners and have an interest in women’s health and supporting refugee background communities.
Weekly sessions are followed by fun activities to keep everybody moving and healthy.
